1 & 2 are on stage at seated at different levels. 2 is higher up, unlit, and sharpening a knife (a very constant freaky metal on metal sound). 1 is lower and lit. 1 delivers text in a simple-real-peaceful-like manner (t's and d's are distinguishable).
1:
between the stockyards
sits peaceful franklin
a good neighborhood
zoned mostly residential
nice not ostentatious houses
just good pure
families
at night time
fine outdoor restaurants
serve those back from work
not wanting to cook
al fresco
now too far away
just a short jaunt to the east or west
the stockyards sit
metal cattle trucks unload their cargo
cows go moo moo
pigs oink
with maybe an occasional little lamb
In an intake of breath a light comes up on 2, and both 1 & 2 deliver text in unison (in their best meat-eatin'-speed-metal-hard-poundin' shout).
1 & 2
into the slaughter
into the slaughter
meat on my platter
ah ha ha ha ha
into the slaughter
meat on my platter
meat on my platter
ahhh Louisville |
